Guinea Pigs Continue to Provide Essential Information to Support Biomedical Research

Studies on guinea pigs led to the discovery of Vitamin C, the tuberculosis bacterium and adrenaline. They were used in the development of the diptheria vaccine, replacement heart valves, blood transfusion, kidney dialysis antibiotics, anticoagulants and asthma medicines. The inhaled medications that are the mainstays of asthma treatment were developed using guinea pigs.

The SOT will be held March 7-11 in Salt Lake City,UT you can find us in Booth #1246. The Quad-Branch Symposium will move to the the Mohegan Sun Convention Center in Uncasville, CT on May 11-12. This combined meeting has been a great success each year, the new location should be great, you will not want to miss it.

Then we will be at the largest regional AALAS show, the Tri-Branch Symposium on June 14-16, in the beautiful Atlantic City, NJ Convention Center.

In the fall look for us at the AALAS national convention in Atlanta, GA, Booth # 1228 Oct. 10-14 . We hope that you will take time to visit us and keep us "up to date" with all that is going on at your facility.
